What we do know is that Instagram tries to guess what content you like best. Unfortunately, we don’t really know how it really works. Unfortunately, you’ve probably been a victim of Instagram suppressing content ( which is so frustrating). And some of you thought I left Instagram completely! But the reason isn’t because I’m posting less. In our survey last month (which we will be talking about more on Sunday), many of you stated that you didn’t see my Instagram images on your feed as often. These changes have definitely affected how you see content on Instagram. And most recently, Instagram will be pushing Recommended for You content to your Home tab. Moreover, Instagram is constantly tweaking its algorithm for your Home feed and Explore page. Unfortunately, the details are mostly a mystery and Instagram does not publish any official information on how it works. The algorithm chooses what it believes to be content that you would most enjoy and actively supposes other content. Instead, the content you see on your feed is determined by the Instagram algorithm. Instagram no longer displays your feed in chronological order. If you follow Instagram closely, you know that they’ve made some significant changes to how content is displayed to you. Practical, everyday style that can transition to the weekend is preferred.It honestly makes me feel like we are gal pals! It has been fun talking with you all through DM’s and comments.
